A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday after a November revelation of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was confirmed in a social media post from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Understanding the Illness
As detailed in a published essay this past fall, Schlossberg revealed that she had been diagnosed with AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a disease that affects the bone marrow and blood cells.
